
Scheduling

One music lesson per week, 30 minutes in duration.

One art lesson per week, 60 minutes in duration.

Students arriving late will receive a lesson shortened by the amount of time they are late.

"Little Concerts" and other performances are considered lessons. Students unprepared for major concerts may not participate.

Homework is required in addition to lessons.
-
Studio breaks align with the Alexander City School Calendar.
-
Studio remains open during school closures due to inclement weather.
-
Music students should be dropped off and picked up within 5 minutes of their lesson time.
-
Before and aftercare is not provided.
-
No food, drinks, or gum is allowed in the studio.
-
Parents are welcome to observe lessons but should avoid interrupting the teacher during another student's time.

Make-up lessons will not be provided for canceled or missed lessons, unless the cancellation is due to teacher absence. Please plan your schedule accordingly. To request a make-up lesson for an upcoming absence, notify me at least one week in advance so I can assist with finding a potential time swap with another student for that week only.

Fees

Tuition is due on the first lesson of each month and can be paid monthly or upfront for 10 months.

Violin, Viola, Piano, Voice Lessons: $100.00 per month.

Art Lessons: $70.00 per month.

Two family members taking art lessons pay $130.00 per month. No discount for multiple music students.

A $5.00 late fee is charged for tuition payments made after the first lesson of the month.

You pay the same fee each month, no matter how many lessons you take. Accepted payment methods include check and cash.

Supplies

Lesson supplies will be discussed during lessons.

Lesson books are purchased approximately every 4-6 months based on student progress.

A metronome is required for intermediate and advanced music students.

Music flashcards are required for younger music students.

Additional Policies
​

Parents are encouraged to attend parent-teacher conferences, support home practice, and attend student performances.

Students are expected to respect the teacher and fellow students, follow studio etiquette (quiet entry/exit, care for equipment, cell phone use), and participate actively in lessons.

This policy constitutes a contractual agreement between the teacher and student/parent. Lessons may be terminated with one-week notice. Refunds are not provided unless explicitly stated otherwise.
